This worm, wrapped in leaves, is known as the tasa kuru worm. The tasa worm does not throw food scraps far away; instead, it piles them up nearby, forming heaps. It keeps everything close. It does not throw the scraps in other places, because if it did, people would know it was eating there. That is why it piled them up inside. What it urinated, it cleaned with the leaves it had already eaten, stacking them together and accumulating them in the same place. Because of this, people began to comment on the bad smell of that house, saying that no one could enter to visit it. At that moment, my brother, the eagle, arrived. I said to him, “Brother, you are living so well; that is why I enjoy visiting you.” The eagle brother would visit him, even though the smell was unbearable because he ate decomposing food. The eagle did not perceive those smells. That is why he said that his brother lived well, like the tasa kuru worm. For that reason, he visited him, but no one else dared to do so. People commented that the place where he lived smelled very bad. That is why they say that the tasa kuru worm still lives with its waste inside the leaves. Just like the tasa kuru worm, some people prefer to live without cleaning their house. But women must always keep the house clean; that is what was taught to the children. When he was human, he lived like that. That is why he still lives that way now, transformed into a worm. He did not keep his house clean. The one who did not keep his house clean was a man. That is why he said the eagle was his brother. Every time the eagle visited him, he would say that he lived in a clean house, like the tasa kuru worm.
