We don't want to see that owl (iluku). When you're walking alone, you will encounter that owl. When that happens, it means your father, your mother, your wife, your son, your son-in-law, or your daughter-in-law will be the ones to pass away. That bird is there; it’s not just anywhere. When something bad is going to happen, it shows up—it predicts it. That's why we are afraid to come across that owl. “Why do you say that bird cries so much? Tell me.” When it cries a lot, something bad will happen. That's why it's crying like that. “Is that why it's sad?” It's sad—very sad—and that’s why it cries. Because people will cry (someone will pass away), that is why the owl appears. It predicts. That's why we don't want to see that bird during the day; at night it can come out, and it only flies at night. We don't want to encounter that owl during the day. “So, if you see it at night, nothing happens?” Nothing happens; but if you see it during the day, it’s bad. “Is it crying?” When that happens and a family member dies, we will be crying. That’s why that owl cries so much. That bird has that sad sound.
